Matt Dillon's first movie. 1979.

Drugs, vandalism, and rock and roll. All in Middle School.
http://imdb.com/title/tt0079688/

New Grenada is a planned community set in the desert where there is nothing for the kids to do, save for a rec center - which closes at 6 PM. The parents, in their zeal to attract industry to their town, have all but neglected their children. As a result, the kids begin to create their own entertainment, which involves vandalism, theft, and general hooliganism. During an incident when one of the kids brandishes an unloaded gun at town cop Ed Doberman, he is shot and killed. When the parents gather the next night to discuss the killing and the level of lawlessness among the youth, they soon find out that their kids have had all they can take.

Lots of music by cheap trick. Some cars, Van Halen, etc.

IMDB 7.6 out of 10 stars.

Xvid at a decent resolution.

HELP...

This is my favorite film of all time and i keep gettin the above msg when i try to download.
First and only time ever.
Sounds like you are having problems between your browser and your bittorrent client. Get Azureus or some other bittorrent client, and associate the .torrent extension with your bittorrent client. Another way of doing this, if you are in explorer, is instead of downloading the file, open it. This will work if you have bittorrent client (such as azureus) installed.
This was actually a smidge of a tricky rip, as the initial attempts all resulted in a sound skew.

This has perfect ac3 sound, and about 70% (my guess) picture compression.
I should have also commented that this is one of my favorite films, and I have watched it probably 30-50 times so far.

It was what got me interested in smoking pot and drinking when I was in High School, a few years later.
